New blog!
So I’ve “blogged” before (a.k.a. kept a Livejournal account for years), but definitely need something new to try out. Everyone is using WordPress (and I’m guilty of having a couple accounts on there) and Blogspot, but I’ve decided to use something different. I’ve kept up with a couple of blogs on Tumblr, but here I am! I guess I should say a few things about myself, just for kicks. 1. Music is important to me. Vital, even. 2. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I am sure that Hawaii will be mixed in there. 3. I was born in Springfield, Illinois and lived there for half of my life thus far. I moved to Austin, Texas when I was 10 years old and I love it even more with every year that passes by. 4. I go to The University of Texas at Austin. We’re the best university in the country, we know. Hook ‘em. 5. While everyone is off to different cities and countries this summer for different reasons, I am [stuck] in Austin. However, I’m not complaining. I’m working two wonderful jobs/internships AND I still can’t get enough of what this city has to offer. 6. I was going to end with that last point, but I only like even numbers.
